For College Students: Renting Books!

I recently graduated from college and it was a relief to me. After all, everyone dreams of finishing college somehow and some even make plans on taking advanced classes after that. I want that too, but for now I need to save up.

Speaking of college, did you guys know that you could actually rent books online? Yup, and it’s all thanks to CampusBookRentals. I know you guys can go at your local library but really – there are some days you can’t do that. I happen to have experienced this because in high school, during our thesis time we had to travel to a very far library because our local one was closed because of renovation.

You will be impressed by the perks of renting books from this site as well because:

  • You can save 40-90% off of the bookstore prices!
  • It’s free shipping both ways (wow!)
  • You can highlight contents of the book as if it’s your own
  • They offer flexible renting periods, which mean less hassle!
  • Many available books (most aren’t found in your library, especially if you come from my school o_O)
  • For each book you rent, donation to Operation Smile is made as well. That means you help in saving lives ♥

If you decide to get the book instead of renting it – you can just pay off the difference and it’s yours. They also have monthly giveaways, textbook scholarships, shirts, and other prizes from time to time which makes renting books even more fun! You just have to be registered to join in on those.

If you’re not up to renting though, why not have your old books for rent instead! This way, you earn some money! And you can continue earning as long as someone rents your book.

I was pretty fascinated of this, even if I am no longer your college girl I still want to read books! I saw a book titled “Learning Web Design : A Beginner’s Guide to HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Web Graphics” which would be nice to read for someone like me who’s making her way in web development and web design.  We didn’t have book like this in our school and if it is available in local book stores, it’s probably costly. Yikes!

Here’s a video on how it works, I’m sure you’re curious!
